Glass in my foot

I thought it was squeezed out sunday...but if i put alot of weight on my foot its sore!

Sole of myfoot ...its the tiniest nick...cant see anything but god its sore how do i remove what i assume is left?

My dad thinks ill have to c the doc!?

Im actually over compensating using my other leg and thats beginning to get really painfullmaswell - sciatic nerve area :0// x

tink. you know if glass is still in your foot the possibility of infection may be quite high !!

go to A&e tink!.......asap, glass shards can travel and cause loads of problems!......try not to put weight on it in the meantime!.....

don't worry tink!.......They'll have a look at it, if they think you have glass still in there, they'll give you a local and you'll feel nothing!.....but you need to sort it out!...........

don't go to a and e, it's not an emergency, and while you didit accidentally, you could hardly say it's urgent!
Just go see the practice nurse tomorrow, or to a minor injuries unit if there is one near you

can you feel anything when you run your fingers over the area tinks?

put a plaster over it, it might help draw it out...?

Your body will eventually reject it.It will become infected and in the process of cleaning and squeezing it will pop out. But it may take some time.

I dont think i can feel anyhting to be honest...but jts a stab of pain when i stand on it which is making me think theres something

I just read to steep foot in water and sugar...sugar neutralises salt in glass and draws it out? Imagine me being scared to see nurse LOL...x

bednobs, sorry!........I got a shard of glass in my foot! and tolerated the pain for a couple of days, then went to A&E, the shard had travelled to my calf area by then!.....

so welsh, what did a and e do to extract it from your calf? Why is having glass in your calf any more dangerous thatn having glass in your foot. Seriously - if you turn up at a and e at midnight they will laugh at you, and wonder why you either didn't come before, or didn't wait till tomorrow to see you PN

Tinks....I've done this too many times to count. If there is anything in there it will make it's way out. Also...even if there isn't anything in there it can still be painful.
