Dont forget your aber friends for support and also there is the website famanon.org.co.uk, people in the same boat, all helps you get through each day. Im talking from experience and althought the road ahead is rocky its no worse than what u have already been through, and with the support of a loving family it can be achieved. XX
I have gone through the same thing masma. My doctor prescribed Campral and it is fantastic. It acts on the chemical changes that have taken place in the brain during the years that you have been drinking alcohol. It has kept me alcohol free for over three years. Do ask your doctor about it and good luck.
Chrissa...He has a doctor coming in every morning this week, he's been put on Acamprasate which is the same tablet as yours. Thank you so much for your post - we don't have much support and it means a lot to have some from ABers. Well done you for being alcohol free - I hope I can be posting the same about my son in 3 years time.
