Both I would say.
Well - the only way to ask is to post a question, there is no private messaging on AB.

Any health questions you get answered here have a warning with them - any advice you receive on here doesn't mean you don't need to see your own doctor or practice nurse.
Don't be shy, you are anon, on AB no-one knows who you are so ask away, I'm sure there are several on here that will help.

If you really are too shy to ask here, hang on till morning and contact your own GP Practice.

mamya (NOT a nurse)

yeah im at the doctors tomorrow, worried sick now though and wanted some advice not slept for 3 days
You can ask........ but it won't beat seeing the doc yourself tomorrow. We might be able to reassure you, or not, depends what it is.
Question Author
i'll wait, didnt realise non members could see everything which is posted on this site
Constant worrying and not sleeping will only compound your well being, by all means share and we may be able to calm you somewhat, otherwise good luck tomorrow and let us know how you get along.
Good luck then - if you want to, come back tomorrow and tell us how you get on.
Shame we can't help you because there's loads of help here. Even if non-members can look in they won't know who you are.
Leanne isn't your real name is it? or is it? Its best to use a 'handle'

Good Luck tomorrow.

Ring NHS direct if you want privacy with a real nurse
If you are really worried you could try ringing NHs Direct on 0845 4647.
You only pay local rates for the phone call. Hope this may help.
Question Author
thanks all will let you know if i'm worrying for nothing ust dont want to go into too much detail, cannot ring nhs direct as do not have a house phone and would mean going to friends or parents to ring
You could have a look here at their symptoms checker - it might help.
http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/CheckSymptoms
Otherwise I wish you all the best tomorrow and hope you or yours are better soon.
I am sure you will be more reassured tomorrow, things are rarely as bad as they seem.
Why can't you ask here?
Question Author
ummmm i didnt realise other people could read the posts if they search for something on google etc thought it was a private site were only members could read posts, it isnt only a question about me, its about my daughter too
The chance of someone you know finding this question is pretty slim.
Question Author
yeah but from my other questions it gives alot of my personal info away
OK , so re-enroll under another name and change the genders of the subjects, plus say somethong like 'my friends really worried because...'. It happens all the time - and often it really is 'a friend' not the poster!
On AB, there's no shame, we're all the same...has that been used before somewhere?
