I usually put olbas on my top lip, sometimes it burns but clears my head!

Best to put it on a hankerchief or abit of cloth.

Another alternative would be to get a bowl with bioled water in put 3 drops of eucalyptus and 3 drops of tea tree essential oil (can get these from boots or the like) make sure these are pure and not mixed with anything like alomond oil etc. then out your head over the bowl with a towel to cover your head for 15 mins

Olbas oil is rather marvellous for a blocked nose (especially if you put a few drops on your pillow before bed) but for really bad sinus pain, i wouldn't think it would be powerful to alieviate much pressure. I'd use it in combination with nother method like the hot bowl of water idea.
