Pins and needles/fizzing extremities

I assume that the fact that the soles of my feet are constantly 'fizzing' is due to my slipped discs, and something pressing on a nerve. But yesterday my left hand started to 'fizz' too. Any idea what could be causing it? Also have ulcerative colitis and arthritis in knees, joints, wrists and elbow... THANKS

It may well herald the onset of peripheral neuritis which is often associated with ulcerative colitis.....Google it for further information.

Mine has been doing that for a while, but have yet to get a decent explanation from any of the GPs. Maybe I'll look that up too.
