Twitch in your eyelid

Does anyone have any cures for a twitch in an eyelid - this has been going on in my left eye for the last 2 days and I'm getting really fed up with it!

Go to bed... I get this when I am overtired. That's the symptom for me, it's telling me I need to sleep.

If it doesn't go away it can be treated with Botox. In fact Botox was originally used for treating this condition before it was used cosmetically. The connection to cosmetic uses was due a chance comment by a doctor performing the treatment made to her cosmetic surgeon husband. She noted the effect on lines on the faces of her patients.

Thanks everyone, and beso, I'm not sure that I could let anyone inject anything into my eye-lid! It's getting better now, and hopefully be gone by the weekend.
