Septic finger...
4 Answers
Hi all
Halifax son has had glandular fever for about 2 months now. He is gradually getting better, but has had an infection round his left hand wedding finger nail for about 2 weeks. It's getting better, but he now has one on his LH pointer finger.
It's red, swollen, very sore and throbbing with lots of yellow pus (sorry!). We've been bathing it in warm salty water, and he's taking painkillers.
Is there anything else I could/should do? Does he need to go the doc's?
TIA x
