A fun way to end a dull Tuesday afternoon, not. No anaesthesia, local or general. Just thought I'd share my outrage.
Can't help thinking matters would be different if men's tackle was all on the inside.

Don't suffer in silence next time Mosaic. Whenever we have patients having similar procedures we do our utmost to ensure they are not in discomfort. Some are unable to have a general anaesthetic as a result of health/chest/underlying problems and thus have their procedure under local anaesthetic.
Should they feel any discomfort whatsoever they are encouraged to make the doctor/surgeon aware immediately.

I'm apalled that you had to endure such a procedure without anaesthesia, it's simply unacceptable. Here's to a speedy recovery!

Oh Boxie, the pre-advice was I'd be on my way within anhour. Is all. The advice sheet pressed into my sweating palms after: 'you may feel a little light-headed but you should be fine to return to work after a few hours'.
I was offered as long as I wanted to heave my drawers on and a lie-down on the vinyl couch if I felt faint. Which was nice.
So I was at work till 21.30.

I've had 3 hysteroscopy's and I always take painkillers beforehand. Co dydromol in my case cos it damn well hurts!
