Don't suffer in silence next time Mosaic. Whenever we have patients having similar procedures we do our utmost to ensure they are not in discomfort. Some are unable to have a general anaesthetic as a result of health/chest/underlying problems and thus have their procedure under local anaesthetic.
Should they feel any discomfort whatsoever they are encouraged to make the doctor/surgeon aware immediately.
I'm apalled that you had to endure such a procedure without anaesthesia, it's simply unacceptable. Here's to a speedy recovery!
