Mouth ulcers

Well not strictly the big ones you get on the inside of your mouth but the little ones you get on your tongue. Are they ulcers or infected taste buds ? not particularly painful but just a nuiscence. Ive got 2 at the moment on the tip of my tongue and was wondering what could be the cause.

Certainly not due to infection.

Cause....unknown.

Thought to be autoimmune, which is always the medics euphemism for "not known"

Viruses come and go in and out of fashion.
