I go through a pair of tights every couple of days, despite using a pumice stone and creaming my heels, by the end of the day, there are holes worn in my tights. Any tips?

Treat yourself to a visit to a Chiropodist, when you leave you will feel like you are walking on air.
I love Flexitol heel balm. nothing else compares. I won one of their FB giveaways and I'm so glad I did - it's the perfect solution for me. I'm ashamed to say that I'd been really lazy in the footcare department but this stuff is great - I rub it into my feet at night before I go to bed and within a few days I could see a huge improvement. No rubbing or scrubbing required! Slightly more expensive than other products out there, but I'm of the opinion that we get what we pay for. This is worth every penny.
That Newtons Chiropody Sponge sounds good. I use Flexitol-when I remember!

On a review for the sponge, someone said "
It is not recommended to use this on infected areas, or anyone with diabetes, or if you have bunions, or bad circulation and it is best to ask the doctor before using it, if you suffer from any of these conditions. "

I've seen that for other foot products...can someone explain why?
I recently went for the fish bath where the fish nibble the dead skin. Amazing. Feet were left like a baby's bum.
Ped Egg, or 99p shop used to sell them. Use on dry skin, works really well. Then plenty of foot cream before you go to bed, and put a pair of socks on in bed afterwards. You could also use almond oil on your feet, makes skin lovely and soft and quite inexpensive, I get mine in Tesco pharmacy. You could also go to a good chiropodist for all the skin to be taken off, not a pedicure at your local salon as they usually only use exfoliator which is No Good. They must use a razor blade (quite safe in the right hands!).
I think one or two treatments with the chiropodist would be good to get the problem under control and for advice then you should be able to maintain with a foot file and a good cream. Ahava have a very good product.
