Well that was a little sooner than expected but I suppose it's for the best....all the more time to recover and lose more weight before Thailand!
The funny thing was I was on my way to the doctors form my stop smoking thingy, so that went from a 'let's discuss your options' to a 'here...have every device known to man'!
I know have ;patches, an inhalator, a mouth spray, my e-cig and 40 fags! She said to start as soon as possible but waste not want not so I'll be finishing the real ones first! The state my head is in right now Ill need them.
So...any idea what my thoughts are on right now?

Spring cleaning! I really am not normal at times!

Oopppps hospital date is for the 28th of this month!!!!!

Not too long then divegirl, and after that its all the way up until you are 36000 feet above the Middle East.

Where in Thailand are you heading?

Hey Dt, we're off to Koh Samui, even going to the Full Moon party [for those who don't know what that is....Google is your friend, but it's not for the faint hearted]. Then a couple of days in Bangkok!
I'm also off to Canada hopefully at the end of the summer, Vancouver Island...go me!

Did you mention Lisa what sort of op you're having? Anyway best wishes I hope it all goes well. After the op you may not feel like smoking & you'll be in hospital where you can't anyway. If you get through that time 'Stick to it'

After my op for bowel cancer 11 years ago I stopped and here I am 11 years on and I've not had one near my lips. Unfortunately I've got another 2" on my hips.

Koh Samui is really nice.

The Moon Festival has unfortunate memories for me as I had to go to Taiwan to run part of my Company's operations there temporarily after an appalling accident, a la Marchioness, that killed 50 folk...it was strange as parts of the operations were hardly affected and others decimated - it reflected how we all socialise with work mates, more by teams than individuals.....

Vancouver is a great city - loads of good Chinese restaurants!

Good luck on the 28th. Do not give up smoking, just spend a long time inbetween cigarettes. Works for me, by knowing I can have a ciggy whenever I want one without letting myself down (ie having told everyone that I was giving up) The last one I smoked was about 7 years ago. Mind you I wish I could do it with food. I can eat a 3 course meal and if I think about a diet I am starving.

Hi Jem, sorry, I'm having a hysterectomy...It's sort of turned in to a mini blog on here, I posted on the day I was diagnosed and its sort of gone on from there. People on here have been amazing.

Found it Erin! Lol...not the best worded tune for me right now....but Its the Foos so who cares...gotta love him with his kiddies.
