Just googled pnemonia and it says that it can be caused by breathing in the virus, bacteria. Do you catch it off some one then? Cheers a/bers

I always thought it was a secondary infection?

Its just got me wondering how people can fall ill so quickly!
Their fine one minute and very ill the next. its an airbourne thing?

The organisms causing pneumonia are transmitted by airborne infection, but whether you will contract pneumonia is quite another story.

Booldawg..... pneumonia may be primary OR secondary an example of the latter is AIDS.
