Strange pain across shoulders and down arms

Hi for quite some time now I have been occasionally getting this strange cramp like pain which travels across my shoulders and down my arms. It lasts about 6 seconds. It can happen when I'm sitting, standing or moving about.
Any advice please

I'm 53
I'm on sertraline (anti-depression)
I'm a home carer
And sometime is probably around 3 yrs

I would suggest that this is a musculo-skeletal disorder secondary perhaps to a degree of cervical (neck) arthritis (wear and tear) and does not suggest any life threatening or serious disorder.

If your lifestyle is impaired by this or that my answer is not reassuring, then I would consult you GP........otherwise.......live with it.
