I'm making a chicken basque this weekend and want to do it in the slow cooker. How should I do it as I don't want to end up with uncooked chicken and overcooked rice?

Yes, I know this should be in food but AB opens into B&S and I hadn't changed it

Thank you redhelen. I'm considering now to do it in the pan as I don't want to end up with mushy rice just maybe not one of those dishes destined for the slow cooker...
