When I selected the fist set of cards she looked at them and asked me something along the lines of have I been making some changes at home? Well, sort of, I am moving house and have been sorting things out for that. With the next set of cards she said I was going be doing some training. Well I'm not doing training as such but I am starting a writing course next month. She suggested I would make money from whatever training I was doing.
There were a few things she said which were quite generic and could apply to many people but she also said I was going to be made some sort of offer that would be too good to refuse. Can't remember exactly but I think she said in a professional capacity.
She said the coming months would be quiet and calm and towards the end of the summer I would meet lots of people and have quite an active social life.
She also said my soul mate was waitng for me. Ha!
At the end she said I needed time to relax and reflect and that I had angels angels around me trying to give me advice but I am blocking them out. Ooooohhhhhh. I wanted to ask if the angels had any chocolate on them. :)
Overall I came out feeling quite positive. Don't get me wrong, I'm not sitting here thinking everything she said is going to happen and waiting for brad Pitt to pop round and sweep me off my feet but I'll be interested to see what pans put over the year and see if anything is relevant to what she said. To bo honest, some of what she said just sounded like friendly advice but she was a nice lady so that was fine.
What do you guys in the know about these things think? Are those things she said fairly standard 'predictidons' or does she really believe that's what's in store for me.
hi evian, i would say some of what you said could apply to anyone... if she had said the same to me then i could have said ive been making changes home as ive been clearing out ready to decorate..... we get constant training at work even though a lot of it is little things.....and i imagine anyone that works as ongoing training for one thing or another.... it would be nice if you did make some money out of whatever you do though :)
I cant see as it matters if it comes true or not.... its not something ive ever thought of doing but if you had fun and enjoyed the evening thats all that matters :) and hey who knows???? Brad Pitt may well just bob round and sweep you off your feet ;)
Yep, that's true pixi, which is why I remain open minded about it.
Cath, I agree. It's down to the choices I make really. But it will be interesting if things go the way they did for you. And there were no bad things in there which I'll take as a good thing. :)
Thinking about it, brad has a fair bit of baggage. I don't fancy him as my soul mate. Wouldn't mind a quick fumble though ;)
It does sound like you chose a good tarot reader there EB, no matter what cards are turned over they are not supposed to tell you anything bad or harmful. I have been to a few in my time as well as a medium and the majority of them have been very accurate, it depends on how you look at it, take it all with a pinch of salt and pleased you enjoyed your reading.
Thanks purple. A couple of times when I shuffling the cards a couple fell on the floor or flipped out of the pack onto the table. She said the those ones were sort of trying to get out as I needed to see them (can't think of a better way to word it). Have you had that before?
That is spooky ! No, Ive never had that happen...only one time did the woman turn over a 'death' card or 'the hanged man' to which did alarm me slightly but she merely calmly said 'it just mean an end to a chapter in your life, one door closes and another one is opening' .....needless to say I lost my step-father a few weeks later but I didnt connect the too as being 'foretold' it was just coincidence.
I just thought it was because I was crap at card shuffling. Lol. I can remember what the card words now but there were good ones.
I think it would have been easy for you to put the death of your step father together with that reading but I agree it's better to think of it as coincedence. There is a chance you could drive yourself insane believing absolutely everything to the letter.
It was only a 15 min reading but I'd quite like to back back and get a more in depth one so I could remember more.
I had my palm read in April of last year and the first thing she told me was that there was going to be a death very close to me within 18 months. Last November we found out that my Uncle has terminal cancer. I haven't actually told anyone in my family about this but it has been breaking my heart since I had it done. They shouldn't be allowed to tell you things like that. I know i'll never do anything like it again.
I'm not sure how I would take being told something like that. It's not as though you can blame yourself that someone else got I'll but it obviously made you feel worse that you knew something was coming. But then again, maybe she was a bit of a charlatan and took as a lucky guess, as popple said they aren't meant to tell you bad things.
