Went geocaching this weekend for first time. Anyone else do this? It could become quite addictive, better than sitting in front of a computer....

It is tonyav, it's incredible to think that this has been going on for years that all over the world things are hidden and people are finding them and exchanging messages. Fascinating really.

We've never had so much fun than when we go Geocaching with the family. Very addictive and you end up finding some interesting places near to home that you never knew existed! Hope you enjoy it as much as we all do..............xx

we enjoy it as a family. its given us a chance to explore some lovely parts of our local area that we simply wouldnt have gone to if we hadnt been geocaching.

the youngster loves the caches with small items to trade, turns it into a real treasure hunt.

I saw this on Countryfile a while back, and it looks really good fun. I'd love to give it a go.

I agree about visiting places you never knew existed. I was at the top of a hill with wonderful views and only 10 minutes away by car as I had to go down a dirt track to get to it. Luckily it's been dry lately. Hardest thing sometimes in urban areas is being discreet so nobody sees you. Kiki frog, give it a go.

We really enjoy it too. I can only echo the thoughts of others here...it takes you to places you wouldn't normally go and gives you information you wouldn't necessarily get anywhere else.
We love to do it when we're on holiday too and found out a load of history of the San Francisco waterfront area when we were there.
The caches are everywhere.
There will be one within half a mile of you.
