hi..you dont say if you get skin rashes..with this hot feeling..well the best thing you can do is keep cool wear cotton clothes..have cooler baths twice a day ..watch what you eat keep away from hot drinks..alchol..and hot spicey food..try to eat as much salad and raw food as possible..you could try antihistamines..as they are good if you itch with the heat..you could also drink lots of water and chamomile tea..the only thing you can do is balance the condition with a cooler system..some women do get early menopause and get minor symptoms for years before the actual event..if you get skin rashes use zinc and castor oil and unscented talc and calomine to ease the rash..i had this so seriouse recently i was on antibiotics then steroid creams and antihistamine..now i am trying to keep as cool as possible..you also need to identify the exact reason when you get hot..is it stress..or alchol..or does it just occur for no reason..if its just happening before or after your period its probably hormones..you will need to narrow the reason search on it so you can treat it..keep cool.........
some people do get an early menopause.  Are you still having periods?

Not sure how true this is, but thought you'd want to know anyway - Someone once told me that Italian women dont use anti perspirant deodorant, because when your underarms are moist, you lose heat much more affectively. By using anti perspirant, you dry out your underarms, and so dont lose the heat. (Think about how cold you are on a hot day when you are all wet, like getting out an outdoor pool.) Apparently the only sweat that smells is that which you sweat when nervous!

many years ago i started suffering as you are doing Fairy_star. I was in my mid thirties and i had to make sure that I didn't do anything to aggravate it. I stopped wearing winter clothes, stockings as well. couldn't even wear closed in shoes. That continued on right up and through the menopause, which I have been in since approx aged 48. I don't have quite the same degree now (age 65) but it's still there. I actually started feeling cold on occasion so can wear warmer clothes sometimes, but not when I'm going out.   It seems to be a pre menopause thing for quite a few women, but the pattern for each person is most likely different. I have taken herbs to balance the hormones out at times, but mainly have just accomodated it. Here's hoping  you can find something to help.
