Feels like a cold
9 Answers
For quite a while now I have woken up every morning feeling like I have a cold.
I'm not sneezing and I don't have a runny nose but I sometimes feel wheezy.
My doctor gave me a turbohaler to use twice a day but it hasn't made a difference up to now.
I tend to think it's my sinuses and before I had the turbohaler I was using Sinex spray but that didn't make any difference either.
Is there something else that might help that I can buy over the counter?

Still go back to GP though... my asthma is a bit like that and dust mite makes it worse

Thanks rowanwitch. As you say I'm not showing any of the usual signs of allergy i.e runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and although I said I wake up like this every day, what I didn't say was it stays with me for most of the day.
I just keep hoping that when I wake up in the morning it's disappeared.
Think I might just have a word with the pharmacist as I really don't want to go back to the doc's unless it gets worse.

If your sinuses are troubling you, have you tried sterimar? It is a filtered sea water spray that soothes the sinus tissue and flushes out anything nasty. Its not cheap, but i find it very good indeed for my sinus problems. If you are wheezy, though it sounds like your chest rather than your sinuses. Are you sure that you are using the inhaler correctly?
Hi Miss prim, I have never used it myself but seeing as woofgang didn't return.....
