What have I got?

My body is aching, I have a slight temperature, sore throat, slightly headachey an a bit of a cough. My chest also hurts when I cough. It started last night.

Don't think I've got flu as I wouldn't be able to move if I had but form the above symptoms, any guesses?

I feel quite similar but not as bad.....my throat is KILLING me...was up all night, and sore ears too...grrr xxx

Lol Murray, funnily enough I was at the vets yesterday to hand in my insurance form and get the results of Tigger's fructosamine tests.

Hasn't affected me like that Tinks. I just went normally after my first coffee of the morning. I'm peeing a lot more though but that may be down to drinking loads.

The upper part of my stomach is in pain though.

Tiggs, can I suggest Beechams All in One, from your chemist? - nibble and I swear by it when we feel like you do (in fact I took a dose of it a couple of days ago, it really holds the symptoms at bay).

Sounds either like the bug that is going around since Christmas ...... sore throat, hacking cough etc or hay fever (I'm suffering at the moment with all the rape crops I think)

Tips for cheaper stuff for colds and flu - Tesco hot lemon powders are just the same as Beechams ...but cheaper. And for cheapest bargain of all --------try lemon powders from Savers chemists (forget how much they were, but less than a pound I think) Also don't forget to look in Poundland - a lot of the branded highly priced cold remedies are often in there ............

I haven't got any Beechams Box but my parents are coming round later so I'll ask them if they can pop to the chemist.

Don't have any crops near me Ann. I do pick up colds easily though. Just hope Little Tiggs doesn't catch it. He's just got over a cold.

Yes tigger - Lidl or Aldi would be good - pity we don't have one near us (12 miles away) Can't you spend an absolute FORTUNE when you have a simple cold and cough!

Sadly I don't have an Aldi near me. I'm really keen on trying out some Aldi food as I wasn't impressed with Lidl foods.
