I haven't been feeling 100% lately (just felt like I have had flu coming, worst on Saturday but better now) and I have no appetite at all. I have only eaten some soup (yesterday) since Friday. Is there anything I can do to sort this out (I am a very fussy eater but even turned down the offer of steak cooked by himself yesterday). Thanks.

If you aren't hungry then don't worry. Keep your fluid intake up and give it a few days. If you are physically hungry (rumbling tum, lightheaded) then have some light plain carbs, a little pasta, crackers, that kind of thing.
"Lately" meaning the last 2-3 days? "Felt like flu" meaning , hot sweaty, aching joints?

One must presume, no constipation no diarrhea, no pain, no urgency in passing water and no other relevant symptoms.

No underlying disease process, no medication?

No idea........monitor the situation for the next 48 hours.

Just aching joints, feel cold but I am actually a bit hot, not a big deal but I lose weight really easily and it takes me ages to put it back (I must be out of sorts, had the house to myself this afternoon and didn't eat a single one of the kids sweets).
Any stress?

I lose my appetite when I'm stressed. Then it's a catch 22. If I don't eat it makes me feel sick which makes me not want to eat.

I try and drink milkshakes instead.
Where I live there's a virus going round like that but lately it seems to be a way of life for me, I have two or three days of eating well and then 3 or so with no appetite at all. Maybe I'm turning into a reptile :o)
I read somewhere that people who eat like that, fast and feast, tend to not gain weight as they only eat when hungry.
pregnant?
I was told to gain weight a couple of years ago and I found it a real struggle...any stress or illness and it drops off. I've only ever eaten to live and not lived to eat :o)

Def not pregnant. Just having a milkshake as I feel pants and I also slept really badly last night (no more stress than usual). Might try some cereal later, but honestly can't think of anything I fancy.
