Medicinal cannabis

I was reading about the medicinal cannabis which is now available to those with MS- as a spray under the tongue, it helps with pain without getting you high or having to smoke. I have had no luck with any pain relief for my arthritis (can't take anti inflams cos of colitis and triptylines make me feel drunk and woozy- can't possibly teach kids like that). How can I get to try this version of medicial cannabis? Is there anywhere I can buy it online?

have you tried asking your doctor? I am always dubious of buying any medication online.

No Chuck, I don't ave MS. If I did, I would have been prescribed it. I am fairly certain it isn't available to anyone yet unless they have MS. BUT it may be available online. Hence, posting this.

Is is a prescription only medicine, therefore you cannot legally obtain it in the uk without a prescription

I'd be careful of getting anything like that online, especially for a potentially non-legalised use.

It is available on prescription but so expensive that it's unlikely you would get it on the NHS. There is not 100% proof of its effect on MS but if you can get a private prescription for it you can buy it here: http://www.oneclickph...0ml-vial-p-51660.html

Also, it's side effects are as follows :increased or decreased appetite, taste disturbance, constipation, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, mouth ulcers, oral pain, dizziness, vertigo, malaise, depression, disorientation, dissociation, mood disturbance, amnesia, impaired attention, drowsiness, dysarthria, blurred vision; less commonly abdominal pain, oromucosal and tooth discoloration, stomatitis, palpitation, tachycardia, hypertension, pharyngitis, syncope, hallucinations, paranoia, delusions, suicidal thoughts; also reported anxiety, seizures.
you probably can't teach kids like that either

Errrm, so you're posting on a public website asking where you can buy drugs illegally online, where you'd have to provide a delivery address!

(note, I have every sympathy for you if you are in pain, and do think that such remedies should be available to all that need them)

If you think it would help I'd suggest you can find the item you are looking for locally without the risk of buying it online.

If it is available om line then it is an illegal site. It is ONLY available for MS sufferers. If you are that desperate get some 'ordinary Cannabis'from your local dealer and put it in a cake .

not in this country illegal all forms, i use cannabis not to get high but as a anti-nausea/appetite stimulant for a problem i have.

it works better than anything for me.

in your question i know an elderly man who uses it for pain and says it is best.

the spray you are talking about is used widely under supervision in usa/canada

do not buy it online

for legal/health reasons

Chuck: No. I have never smoked or taken drugs in my life and don't intend to start now. I have just read that medicinal cannabis with the THC removed (the bit that gets you high) has really helped a lot of chronic pain sufferers. I am not interested in buying anything illegal. I want to get the legal version, but from what I read, in the UK it is only prescribed for MS sufferers, probably due to the cost of it on the NHS. I thought that maybe it was available from other countries legally, and therefore I could buy it online.

I doubt it's the cost - probably more to do with clinical effectiveness and trials

It costs £150 for a vial which lasts the user for 10-11 days. I doubt the NHS would be able to pay for much of that, hence restriting it to only people with MS.

It doesn't matter if it is available legally from other countries, it's illegal in this country.

If you want to try and order illegal drugs from abroad and expect them to get through customs (with your address on the parcel) then..... errr good luck and enjoy prison.
