How much does the star sign affect you compared to hereditary factors.
 I'm cancer and it's true what they say about scorpios and cancers being in a tumultuous relationship, and yet we have much in common and like the same subjects. ( and can get on well)

Hmm I don't believe in it, but for some reason it is quite fun. I'm Aries and I can be quite temperamental, likes to be the first in everything, but not a sore loser. Some might say I have a big ego, but really I'm wonderful - everybody should be able to see that ;0) I don't know though, when I read the discriptions of Aries, they fit, but so does the rest of them I suppose.

BTW My boyfriend is Taurus, can anyone enlighten me? Is this good or bad? :0)

I'm an Aquarius but I actually don't know what that is meant to say about me. If someone tells me what this sign signifies in terms of personality etc then I'll happily tell you whether or not it matches me.

Firstly, you can't tell an Aquarian anything - they already know! In fact, they are the know-alls of the zodiac. They are original, inventive and very smart. They are very peculiar in the way they dress. Wearing footy(football) socks with a suit could be quite normal! They are nearly always late arriving anywhere because time means nothing. I fit in perfectly with being a Taurean & I was married to a Capricorn who are often irresponsible until later years when they like to reverse the roles & become the one in charge.  That's exactly how he is but it's too late I'm afraid, not going back there!

I've had most contact with Geminis - my oldest son is one - but I wouldn't really get on with them as a partner.  I'd love ideally to meet another Taurean or maybe a Cancerian (any offers?) - youngest son is Cancerian & we are so much alike but he does get moody!!

My sister is Aquarian (as was my mum) & they do tend to live by these unwritten rules - I'm often saying 'so where is that carved in stone then?' :-)

im an aries and im maybe not selfish, but i "always rknow best", got to be the leader, everything has to be done NOW.  give me a good caus in i can fight for it, im a problem solver and very enterprising.

my partner is cancer which im supposed to ahve no chance with as we are too different which we are but we manage to work through it... im supposed to keep away from other aries which my mother is in it defo is a fiery relationship!

Lillabet - I've just read your post.  Aquarians always see the ending to a situation & then work their way towards it. Unfortunately my mum was a very negative person & saw the bad endings.( I know from your posts on here that doesn't apply to you!). Do you read the last page of a novel first like she did? :-)

Hmmm ok. Firstly thanks to those who know more about this than me for letting me know about Aquarians. If by smart you mean academically so then that does kind of fit (big headed too) but I got straight As at GCSE and A level, a 1st at uni then a PhD.

In terms of dress sadly no. I could do with being smarter. I'm starting a new job a week on Monday and will have to wear suits for the first time ever. I only own 1. (going shopping this weekend.) Though if I could get away with wearing it with trainers I would.

I'm never late. Ever. Often a bit early.

Much prefer meeting people in person or chatting by email than phoning.

I do make friends very easily and people always end up hanging round at my house. I get through a LOT of tea and biscuits. Also animals. The neighbours cat regularly tries to kill itself by getting under my car when I park in order to say hi and follow me into my flat.

I tend to set myself goals and work to them. Also to tie myself to my own moral code and be quite judgemental with myself. I am an optimist though - convinced everyone can achieve everything given the right circumstances. I'm actually really non judgemental with others though, if anything I can be a bit too equivocal.

I have on occasion looked at the end of a book first but normally don't do that. Specially not with detective stories or thrillers.

This is a longwinded way of saying that I don't think I am a typical aquarian in some ways...

Just read my star sign, artee - Haaaaahaha! Wrong in just about every respect imaginable! Incidentally, a NZ astrologer once told me that being born in the southern hemisphere would make quite a difference to your horoscope - different stars, I suppose, so I don't know how that affects you. Perhaps you'd wear the footy socks on your head?

I am a piscean and i am very much a daydreamer, very imaginative creative and artistic. We are supposed to have a good ability at solving complex puzzles and i do like doing crosswords occasionally and am good at those sortsof things generally. Open minded for definite and very much a people person and more of a server than a leader but very dedicated. I always try to see both sides of thestory before deciding which way and we supposed to get on best with another piscean though i have never been out with one. My past two relationships were Leo and Taurus, Taurus are supposed to be a second best match and Cancer i think. My sister is a cancer and weget on well.

In my experience hereditary factors are very strong. eg there were 11 different birthdates in my family, whilst being raised, with 10 different star signs. We are so alike in so many ways, and this branches out to my kids, cousins nieces etc. Yet there is that difference that makes each of us so unique when compared with the others.  what say you?
Sam 82  I was a very moody cancerian when growing up, and the reason was because the things people said and did hurt.  Especially when they deliberately hurt me, either physically or emotionally. I learnt to control that as I got older. things would still hurt but I wouldn;t show it, having more understanding towards others.

Sagittarius - Not bad from artee's link. I definitely tell the truth too much. I thought that was my upbringing though. Not so sure about loving travel, but I like fast cars and going to the gee gees. Yup, I love spending money and have had to get 3 loans out so far to consolidate credit cards. It doesn't mention laid back though, which is probably my primary trait. I am horizontal.
