The fashionably unshaven

I really dislike that unshaven look which some men seem to think is attractive. That aside, how do they maintain it? How do they stop it growing into a beard whilst at the same time keeping it looking unshaven?

I have an electric shaver with a beard trimming attachment with settings 1,2,3 etc, same as having a hair cutter

I don't have a full beard, just chin & moustache. Before having the trimmer, using scissors was a nightmare, and very uneven.

Feedback says it tickles more than scratches naomi!!

Beards can be soft - but I've never met soft stubble.

My husband grew a beard once - and it looked good. However, when his mother saw it she said 'Hummph! I don't like beards!'

His reply? 'Just as well you haven't got one then!'
