Hi sqad, 37º and rising. I have dreadful heat rash under the boobies which I always get but just cannot shift it this year.¡, and is now incredibly sore. I've tried nappycream from chemist, lanocane powder, thrush cream, and caladryl, you name it I've tried it, but getting more sore by the minute. Would anti histamines help? I wear cotton and a biggish bra with kitchen roll to absorb so as not to rub, no bra at home, what on earth can I do? Thanks. hate this heat!!
I get this on holiday and find antihistamine tablets like Piriteze, Benadryl do help as does Benadryl antihistamine cream, I'm sure you could get something similar out there?
Would taking something like diflucan be a possibility? I only mention it as you said you'd tried thrust cream otherwise it wouldn't occur to me at all. Feel for you, must be pretty grim.
Poor neti! I don't have the same problem except I have to make sure I am dry underneath boobs. I too hate this hot weather. I feel such an old misery when I say that because I know lots of people have been looking forward to it. I hope someone, perhaps sqad if he sees this, can help you.
I agree with the steroid posters except I would use the ointment and not the cream.
I am not sure that the antihistamines have anything to offer.
Only give the steroid creams 48 hours to show an improvement as if they fail to do so, then stop and switch to lamisil cream as it may well be a fungus.
I do have this problem... lamisil powder is good also if you don't already try switching to cotton bras soaking them in nappy sanitiser over night and boil washing them as normal washing doesn't kill the fungal spores if it is a fungal infection
I also find placing clean cotton cloth under my boobs helps trap it in place with the lower edge of your bra.
Can't stand woman who use powder under their breasts...bloody awful mess...."claggy" ...sticky.....and you can't get the bloody paste off your stethoscope.
Sqad can I get this steroid cream over the counter here?
Daffy what is a cooling bra, can I get one in Decathlon (sports shop).
and sqad as you won't be seeing or feeling my boobies I do use powder. i find cream just melts and slides everywhere, really suffering this year.
Thanks all for suggestions.
I would go to medico but he tuts at silly thngs like this!
Yes, you can Neti because I have often bought in Spain for prickly heat rash. And I would disagree with Sqad, I find anti histamine tablets help a lot with the itching.
