French: gauche: awkward, clumsy
Danish: kejthandet: cat-handed
Italian: mancini: crooked, maimed

Spanish: zurdo: malicious
Romanian: bongo: crooked, evil
Well I'm left handed & left footed, but am glad to say I'm non of those on that list Waldo!
I remember people trying to make me write right handed, but it didn't work! Mum & Dad taught me to eat right handed with a knife & fork, but I can still only use a spoon with my left hand.
BTW, I'm Church of England!
Justineo it doesn't happen now in schools. my son goes to s catholic school and they would never try to make a child write with his right hand if he was left handed.
When my Dad went to school he was rapped on the knuckles with a ruler (by a nun) to stop him writing with his left hand, he's ambidextrous (if thats how you spell it) now but will still always use his left hand.
