I have been trying to get pregnant for 17 months with no sucess. I don't think I am ovulating, I need someone to talk to

Talking will not make you pregnant, you need to have sex with someone LOL.

Seriously, go and see your GP and have a word with him or her. If you have been on the pill for a few years it can take time, also your partner may have a low sperm count.

There is a simple blood test to tell if you are ovulating - go and see your Dr and get booked in.  Boots also have kits that show hormone surges in the run up to ovulation which some pepole use.  Good luck!

Took me sixteen months to conceive, both my partener and I are "normal" it can really try your patience.  You could buy an ovulation predictor which could help.  For piece of mind you really need to talk to your GP, good luck!
