Can you buy zopiclone sleeping tablets over the internet in the uk and if so, is it legal?

I like them, they help me sleep. But I think they're supposed to be addictive so doctors are rather cautious about handing them out (possibly why this question has been posted).

its a prescription med in the UK so not legal to sell. In any case buying meds over the net is a risky business, too many fakes out there. The fakes are not inert rubbish, they can also be other drugs which can be dangerous.

There's no guarantee that medication that you buy on the net is actually what it claims to be. Why not ask your GP?

They are recommended for infrequent use only, as they can become addictive in a very short time.

Amazon doesn't sell them alba. When you type it in, all that comes up are books that have the word zopiclone in the description.

zopiclone aren't really addictive....they just become ineffective after a month or so.....about as good as a placebo.

As I said before, when my husband was prescribed them, he used to fall asleep before he got into bed. When I take Temazapam, I can read for about half an hour before feeling sleepy.

They didn't do much for me, had to take more than I should have and still not much success so they wouldn't, understandbly, give me any more.

I think I have a high threshold for things like that though, I remember being in hospital and in pain and a nurse gave me some pethadine by injection and kept coming and peeking at me looking a bit surprised as I was still reading away as it didn't kick in for ages but it was supposed to knock me out :)

I've used Kalms night tablets before now, just help me relax. I would have problems switching my brain off to relax. Relaxation classes might help to teach you techniques to get yourself relaxed to get yourself more ready for sleep, a good routine helps too, I don't have a TV in the bedroom and my bed is for sleeping only. I have a little routine before I go to bed so psychologically I guess it gets me ready. I have issues with pain and getting comfortable but at least if I can get relaxed then it's rest if not sleep.

My doctor refuses to prescribe sleeping tablets for me on the grounds that they are addictive. She, however, has no objection to me taking Nytol, as long as I pay for it myself. At the same time she is happy to prescribe for me Tramadol (a weak opiate) by the bucketful, even though I no longer suffer the pain which made the prescription necessary in the first instance.

Thus, if I am unable to sleep, then two Tramadol combined with one Nytol sends me into blissful repose, from which I awake in the morning fully refreshed.
