I grazed my face about 18hrs ago and through the course of the day the wounds have darkened as they have dried out.

Is there anything I can do tomorrow to accelerate the healing process?

I have to meet with people on Wednesday and would rather not look like I've had a disagreement with a gravel path......

Try some honey....! Was used in ancient times to heal war wounds....
If it doesn't work,- get someone to lick it off! ;)
Question Author
Honey I can do.

Finding someone to lick it off might be harder...
A small plaster & some dark glasses should hide the worst ...

I'll file that suggestion under 'D' for desperate......
Not really, you have.

(I was rocking with laughter reading the original post eccles, but seriously not helpful, I know)

Ice it like mad for 20 mins at a time every couple of hours from now tonight and don't put plaster on it, or anything else.

Get some high strength vitamin e oil in capsules tomorrow, prick a couple and spread them on the wound three or four times a day rubbing in gently for the next week or ten days. Cream is a waste of time.

And don't pick the scabs x

Thanks Humbersloop.

I have to venture out later and will try to find some Vit E, if not I'll try the honey.....
