Revision

I have exams all this week and have 12 during the week. I have an R.E exam tomorrow, and I have sixteen topics to revise... small topics. I have NO idea how to revise. Any tips?

when my brother was revisin 4 his gcse's he used 2 kick evry1 out of the house or go 2 the library!!!!!!!

ermm , revising with friends is good because it keeps you interested and can be fun aswell , or working on a website is good . i find it best when you put your mind straight to it grab a tub of ice cream a spoon and sit in your room looking through revision books just think how good you will feel after doing it!! gd luck x

Agree with the comments above. Different things work for different people and some people prefer to revise alone and some with friends. I used to do a bit of both. When I was revising with friends we used to ask each other questions on the subject - and we'd learn from each other. When I was revising on my own I used to read through any notes and use a yellow highlighter pen to highlight important stuff and then I could quickly go through the highlighted stuff and try to memorise as much of it as I could.

It's also good to try to get some old exam papers and try to answer the questions. This helps you know the bits you really have to work on.

First -eliminate those you dont think will come up - this leaves you about half (gamble). For each topic, make sure you know minimum of 6-8 key points - each of these points is a paragraph. Once you add an intro and a conclusion you have 8-10 paragraphs, more than the 4 sides you can physically write in an exam. Guessing from your name it's GCSE's - nothing flash, a basic understanding of the topic will suffice. good luck!
