Lately I've felt like I need to pee a lot, but very little comes out. The sensation is always there. It doesn't feel like cystitis as there is no burning or pain. Could anything else be causing this sensation, and would cystitis remedies help?

There was a thread a few days ago about people needing to pee more in the cold weather, sqad explained it - could this be the reason?

That was mine, and no, that was only correct if you were actually cold, and therefore would wee more often! The 'needing to go' sensation is constant.

Commonest cause by far is Urgency-Frequency Syndrome.

No big deal but Google it.
I have had similar for years..have you had children? I have took tablets, investigations etc but no outcome. I think you should see your GP anyway as it may be an infection. Horrible sensation and sympathise
I didn't realise it was your thread, scarlett - sorry!

No, no babies. I'll see doc as soon as I can get an appointment.
I can only talk from self experience. After sporting activity very little comes out even though drinking isotonic and beverages. However the following day it seems the stored volume releases and it comes out in pints. Do you indulge in any sport?
