I Think My Blood Sugars Are Returning To Normal

I got a real fright last night with my blood sugar being 21 with keytones I think my blood sugars are returnign to normal. Nothing to eat since 8pm last night going to have some porridfe I feel a bit shaky but I never slept thinking that I had DKA. I have a huge addiction to sugar and I am giving up. I just hope my sugars will go back to normal and they are not climbing without me realising

I don't know if it's any help but I bulked my meals out with spring cabbage and brocolli. I should get the MBE for my services to the British vegetable growing industry but, hey, it works for me. Haven't had Cadbury's in over five years. It's a bind but one can do it.

Thank you, Mrs O. You were spot on before though, it's a simple choice. Do you want to eat more cabbage or chocolate, etc and lose both feet, go blind, etc.
It's a no brainer and I sympathise with anyone who contracts diabetes but no one else can manage it for you.
But nothing will ever make me love metformin - the side effects are grim in the extreme, socially at least !!
