Are you on insulin injections, if so you could give yourself a very small shot to get it down. Otherwise drink plenty of water and try to be calm. Your neighbours will probably forget all about it, but if you feel that bad go and carefully apologise to them, but wait until your blood sugar is level before you do. Hope you feel better soon.
Yes , it is irrational.
They will have most likely forgotten all about it by now.
Has it occurred to you that if they did come to your door (very unlikely), it might be to say that they were sorry that you were ill and hoped that they had not upset you ?
You are really going to have to get a hold of yourself, gordie.
Sorting out your sugar levels by following the advice of your Dr and specialist nurse would be a start.
Learning to tolerate some discomfort like a bit of nausea would also help.
Most 'symptoms' are not indicative of anything much and will fade over an hour or so.
If you know that a side effect of your medication is nausea, you just have to put up with it for a few days at least ...if it is persistent and very unpleasant, then ask your GP about changing your medication...but please, give it a good try first.
And please continue to attend your counsellor as your anxiety is a major problem.

You're probably related to them, and wanted to help you. (How would you know your not?)
I wouldn't worry about any repercussions they're probably scared for you doing any harm to yourself.

gordie, I know what a panic attack is like - it's a horrible feeling and you don't behave like you might do normally. Please don't keep fretting that everyone is out to get you - nor do you have to explain to people about your blood sugars. What is the reading today then? - I thought you were being careful with sugar and remembering to take your medication.
