I am swimming and going to the gym quite a lot of late, and although it's great for my health, it's not doing my hair any good. Can anyone recommend a good treatment that I can use to put the bounce back into my hair! - fairly cheap if poss, on a budget! TIAx

Argan oil is brilliant. Massage into hair and wash off in morning, minimise use of heated appliances. Since i started my phlebo job, i don't use heated appliances on my hair everyday, and my hair is in great condition now. I use argan oil (morrocon oil) and also the tresemme hair mask is brilliant.
i have taken to using baby shampoo and elvive extraordinary oil
Yes, I use the Elvive Extraordinary oil which I'm really impressed with. Also, I use Boots Sun, Swim and Gym which is a hair mask that you apply before swimming followed by shampoo and conditioner for afterwards.
Thumbs up from me too on the Elvive extraordinary oil. In your situation I'd also do as RandS says, there are several products you can get to put in your hair to protect before swimming (and sun).
Also, always wet your hair with clean water [under the shower] before you get in the pool...I was told that once your hair is saturated it doesn't absorb as much chlorine.
