Am I Pregnant?

Two weeks after my first child I got the depo shot. I hadn't had a cycle since January 2012.My last depo shot was July 2012. Last week was my first time having unprotected sex. A week later I began spotting. Could I be pregnant although I do not have cycles ? How soon can I find out?

If you don't have a regular cycle then it's very hard to say. The spotting could be your periods returning.

I would, in your circumstances, take pregnancy precautions...ie, don't drink/smoke etc...

You can buy pregnancy testing kits from the supermarket for about £2.50 for 2. Test every few days.

Your last "shot" ( I assume Provera) was july12th 2012 and last week (7 months later) you had unprotected sex.

Could you be pregnant?..........yes.

When would a test be reliable?........in 2 weeks time should give you a reliable result.
