As to the actual question, do these things maybe take a while to settle down after the op?
I don't understand not being allowed to wear glasses. When ma mum had hers done, she had to have drops put in and the eye was covered by a plastic shield that was held by tape. She was able to wear her regular glasses still.

Thanku both. Apparently the reason not to wear my specs is first the "new" lens put in won't be the same prescription and the other eye that is getting the op sometime has to adjust? He say's the brain has to work with they eyes?

I am 75 and worn specs every day since I was 10 years old. I am now told when both eyes are operated on I won't need specs again. All very odd to me but cataract surgery has progressed this far he tells me.
I am having 2 lots of drops in 4 times a day. The eye looks ok not inflamed or sore. Just so very blurry.

I am so dissapointed at this stage when so many people tell me they could see perfectly straight away.
