Having just had my hair cropped, I mentioned to the lady who, er, does me that I will want to use gel to get a fairly spiky effect, but don't want to use much as it can look greasy. She said there's a hair gel that is based on (or at least contains) salt - it does what you need it to do but the hair remains dry-looking. She couldn't remember the name of the product though.

Can anyone help?

something by Verbana perhaps?

One of the young alba's had a hair gel which gave the dry look, will ask him when he comes home.
I use vo5 hair clay. Doesn't look like you've got any product in your hair but keeps it spikey.
