Does anyone know if copper heelers really work. I have seen the articles on people throwing away walking sticks but nothing on how long it takes, how often they should be worn, should it be all day such as slippers or just when shoes are worn. Any advice would be welcome.

I don't believe in magnetic bracelets but do in the copper ones. From over thousands of years people have worn copper . I wear mine all the time and occasionally take it off to clean with a kind of brasso product. my bracelet cost something like £5 and is quite decorative .
A copper line along the top of a roof reduces the amount of moss so there is something in it!!!!!!!

copper reduces moss on roofs because the copper oxidises to copper salts(green and blue colour) which the rain them washes over the moss which poisons the moss!

Sorry but I cannot see how the fact that copper salts kill moss will mean that wearing copper will help with arthritis. I am glad that your bracelet helps you though.

You could also Google for "Apple Cider Vinegar" and try that for curing arthritis as many people (including me and Sir Ranulph Fiennes, see below) believe in it but you have to start taking it before the cartilage between the bones of the joints wears away.

There are no magic cures for arthritis, however there are ways to help control it. Lots of things on the market. I have a tens machine, some people swear by them, I personally don't find it helpful. I have taken glucosamine, again I am not sure that it helps. Best thing is maintain a healthy lifestyle, healthy diet, reduce weight especially if arthritis in weightbearing joints, keep active by exercising within your capabilities but don't sit about doing nothing.
Hi, I believe it's 2 table spoons of ACV, 1 Table spoon Honey (or to taste) in a tumbler of hottish water, then sip it slowly but I have taken Apple Cider Vinegar tablets for the last 7 or 8 years as its easier and less messing about.
You can take up to 6 tablets a day in safety but I only take 3 tabs on a
Monday and 3 tabs on a Friday now and it keeps things under control.
I started with Arthritis in the 80s and started with the liquid ACV and I've never been bothered with it since.
I read that Uric acid in the blood causes crystals in the joints and then the crystals wear the cartilages away to the bone. Thats when the ACV can't do much good as the main damage has already been done.
I get my tablets from Holland and Barrett who often do a two for the price of one offer.
Incidentally, give the ACV time to kick in, it's not a three day wonder.
Hope this helps.

If you don't have any problems or pains at the moment then I'd suggest one tablet a day as you mentioned or maybe every other day. You can always increase the dosage later if things don't seem to be working out as ACV is supposedly beneficial for other complaints as well as arthritis. See below.
