sorry about the topic so early but is there anything you can buy over the counter to stop you going so often, most mornings I need to go about 3 or 4 times before I even leave the house, I am going away for the weekend to visit relatives and as they only have one bathroom its making me feel I would rather not visit.

Eat some hard boiled eggs before you visit your relatives, fruitsalad !.
3 or 4 times every morning? I'm no doctor but that sounds excessive to me.

Is your diet particularly high in fibre?

not really Evian...no
Is going that often 'normal' for you?
how can i put this nicely when you go are you finishing properly or are you going 3or 4 times to finish properly .
If your diarrhea is painless and without cramping and bloating then Lomotil taken last thing at night might well be your answer.

if however it is associated with IBS like symptoms, then Buscopan taken last thing at night would be more appropriate.

Both may be bought over the counter.
