C0ffee?
4 Answers
Does anyone know what (if any) damage drinking 4 cups of c0ffee a day does to your stomach if each cup contains four teaspoons of c0ffee? My mate's already admitted it gives him the runs, but surely there must be more damage being done?

He doesn't eat as much anymore, only lunch(sometimes) and dinner and thats it. He also drinks too much lager, 3cans a day. What sort of havoc to the nervous system do you mean?
It's going into shock basically. Suddenly his body is getting a shot of a highly concentrated caffine. Don't forget that caffine is itself a drug so if he's not eating properly which, by the sound of it he isn't, his body is completely unable to cope. It's a bit like drinking 8 shots of vodka one after the other on an empty stomach. You get a sudden rush and your body can't cope.
He shouldn't stop drinking coffee altogether as his body will like that even less. Just use 3 spoons of coffee for a while, then maybe 2.5, then 2 until he manages maybe one heaped spoon.
As I said, caffine is a drug and therefore addictive. It's not necessarily a bad one, I couldn't live without it, but it does need to be used in moderation.
Incidentally, excessive caffine intake in any form can cause pains in the breast area. I had to be checked out in hospital because of it. I know he's a bloke but he can still get the same pains. If he's concerned maybe he could try talking to his gp who may have some constructive ideas. Good luck he's lucky to have a concerned friend
