Is it good yoga practice to mix you your yoga routines often? Or is it best to have several exercises that you repeat several times a week?

It doesn't matter, whatever suits you.
Asanas/yoga poses have a lot of benefits for your body, but you couldn't expect instant result from practicing yoga. I think you could enjoy optimal benefits of yoga by doing the same poses for at least a month.
I was wondering if yoga would be beneficial to someone that suffers with anxiety? You know, like to calm them down a bit, perhaps?
Yes MadMen
I have practiced it for about 38 years and taught it for over 30.
It certainly can help with anxiety
38 years? Wow. There's a class very near to me, so I was thinking of going.
Well, not all classes suit all people. If you are a beginner I recomend a traditional Hatha Yoga class that features some meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques) as well as asana (posture) and relaxation.
Iyengar Yoga and Power Yoga don't suit everyone. Give it a go!
Sorry *recommend
I don't think 'power yoga' sounds like what I'm looking for! :)

I will pop along tomorrow afternoon and see how I get on.
Thanks :-)
