I have a couple of white spots on my face just under the surface of the skin. I presume they are whiteheads. Anyone have any good solutions on how to get rid of them.

Thank you.

My son had a few of those on his face jamjar, and he just squeezed them out and they havent come back. No problem now.
Could they be milia rather than whiteheads?

Sounds like millia. I have these annoying little things. Started off when i was younger getting a couple now i have quite a few on the top of my cheeks. Some do come out naturally. Keep an eye on them and if you start getting a few more visit a beautician. They will take them out by piercing them with tiny needle and squeezing them. Its not too bad and definately worth it
I agree with Ali, if they won't come out with squeezing you could do more damage to your skin. A beautician took mine out with a needle placed into the side (not the middle) of the spot. I have had some since, put a needle into the side (ouch quite painful), this seems to dry the spot out and when it goes hard it drops off. I couldn't manage to squeeze them out though. Make sure you put the needle in an open flame before you use it to kill any bacteria on it.
