Thyroid Question

Can a thyroid problem affect your eyes - as in scratchy/itchy/pressure behind eyes ? Also have aches in all my joints especially arms, wrists ache badly.
I am awaiting results of bloods for thyroid, however like last time I bet the results are normal.

My GP said it could be heart probs or thyroid - its not a hypo and my blood pressure is fine.
Aching joints are more suggestive of an inflammatory arthropathy such as rheumatoid arthritis.
The eyes are puzzling...any xerophthalmia (dry eyes) and xerostemia (dry mouth) ?
A blood test to determine your inflammatory response and a full immunology screen might be advisable, just for completeness.
