My arm feels like it's throbbing with dull pain and trying to do something to rest it up or encourage me not to use it much as I think it's making it worse, nightmare out today as five very hot buses to get to docs to hospital to chemists to home and trying not to use it but with my walking stick in the other hand it's been challenging!

Anyone know how to fix one up so it doesn't pull down a lot round the back of my neck or make my fingers go all weird and tingly (no idea why, nothing round them :()

Am about to throw the stupid thing across the room.

Going to stick it on a pillow and rest for a bit as typing hurting it but will be bobbing in and out.

Thanks for any help.

Take triangular bandage. Tie knot in the tip of triangle which is opposite to long side. Put long side over your shoulder at one end. Other end hangs down and knotted bit towards elbow of bad arm. At this point if you have help other person can take long end hanging down over other shoulder and fasten on back of shoulder to other end.
If alone tie long ends together put head through, adjust for comfort, knot towards elbow and tuck.

Thank you :) Think I had it back to front! Much more comfy, still weighing a bit hard on the back of my neck but arm not falling out now :) Having big boobs isn't helping though!
Is there no way that you could use your bra to help support it?

Good as any video I've seen on subject

It should be more across the back of the shoulder blade than taking the weight on your neck Eve,
I used to tuck a scarf around the back of my neck when I had to use a sling, it did help to have a little bit of padding there
did they come up with an answer of whether there was a break or not

Ah, the shoulder thing seems to be where I'm going wrong now. Thanks all for your help.

The guy who did the xray said he couldn't see anything majorly obvious but that could be aload of rubbish as it would need to be checked by a consultant, result to me GP in 8-10 days.
