I hope Jack will forgive me but he has just revealed on another thread that his beloved wife Minnie passed away on Monday.
I thought that it should be on a separate thread as the other one seems to have stopped.

Thank you all for your sympathy - Minnie passed away peacefully after being very ill - the nursing staff were wonderfully caring and even took care of me on the occasions I stayed overnight.
I am at a total loss but have the support of our son and daughter.
Minnie's funeral will be on Friday 2nd August at noon - please be with me in your thoughts.
Too sad to say more - thanks again for all you help in recent time.
