As old fashioned as it sounds......... A good night's sleep does wonders!
green tea with ginseng (clipper maek it) - taste nice, and really wakes you up / makes you happy first thing in the morning
Have you seen a cat stretch its limbs and yawn when it wakes ? Do the same, lay in bed and flex and stretch all your muscles as best you can for about a minute. Also when you rise, do so slowly, don't leap out. Helps a bit. If your window overlooks greenery, stand at the window and just take it in.
I find I am useless until I have had a shower and washed my face!
I am useless until around midday.... I hate mornings. Might try that Ginseng though.
i hate getting out of bed every morning, no matter how much or little sleep i have and what time i go to bed i always wake up feeling like i have a hangover that takes about 30mins - 2 hours to clear.

i thought i was the only notorious oversleeper- getting up at midday- feeling knackered, always try to stretch(if ive got enough energy to do it that is) do everything mfwell suggests anyway- but im going to try an apple as this has been suggested for perking up
dont put the news on! thats guaranteed to get you down.
A glass of ice cold water with fresh lemon juice in it.
Get the right number of hours sleep, but get them at the same time every night. 30 mins out is all it needs to mess up a schedule. No matter how tempting Big Brother looks.

Try VegEPA.  It is a fabulous dietary supplement which makes your sleep much more refreshing and you wake up feeling great!  It is also great for ME, depression and arthritis.
