Apologies, for iPad predictive text, I was referring Augmentin.
Do you mean Augmentin? It`s a broad spectrum antibiotic in the vein of Amoxicillin (for ear infections etc). I have been on it and there wasn`t a problem re the alcohol.
I thinliterature advises , no alcohol, check the leaflet.
ooft.........I think the literature .
Is that Co-Amoxilcav? If so, I'm sure I was told not to drink when I've been on it.
It's a myth that one must drink alcohol with antibiotics.

The only exceptions (perhaps) is Flagyl and Trimethoprim.
LOL......sorry.....should read "one must NOT drink alcohol" with antibiotics.
Is it a Dr conspiracy to stop people drinking then Sqad? ;)

Meclizine (?) is one I heard is a nono (not sure if that is one of the ones you mentioned Sqad). I remember it being drummed into me by a dentist and pharmacist for whatever they gave me when I got an infected wisdom tooth (in my law finals!) and they took one out, it was one you put in water though. Evil stuff, couldn't keep anything down with it anyway.
Eve....no.

meclizine is not an antibiotic...........and taking alcohol with Meclizine would not be advised.
