How long does it take for the threadworms to be killed off by medication? The whole family have been treated as recommended and we have a second dose of meds to take in 14 days if need be.

My 6 year old daughter has a party on Sunday and I could do with knowing if ok for her to mix with other children.

Many thanks

Thank you Sqad!!!!

She probably got the threadworms from one of the little sweeties coming to the party, so don't worry at all - what goes round comes round and it's so easy to treat. Wait till the nit season comes along!
And....remember to keep good hand hygiene/washing clothes and linen on higher temperatures during the 2 weeks. Otherwise, everyone wil be fine after the second dose of meds x
