Cold Or Flu?

I came over 'all funny' yesterday afternoon and spent the rest of the evening feeling like utter broccoli.
My head is banging, my throat is sore, my nose is blocked and I feel totally wiped out. It's an effort to even type this.
I tried some toast this morning but I can't keep anything down, not even a small sip of water.
Is that a head cold maybe, or flu? What is the best thing to take, I've only taken paracetamol but it's not had any effect on the headache. Thanks.

Difficult if you can't keep anything down....I always drink lots of water with beechams...
Dehydration can cause headache too, try sipping ....
So you are actually vomiting?

I'm only being sick if I eat or drink something :( As I say, I've only tried a small piece of toast, nothing heavy, but I can't even keep down a few sips of water.
I took some paracetamol, but was sick about twenty minutes later. I just feel whacked.
Can you go back to bed?
You may have an infection, or food poisoning.

Bed rest and small regular intakes of fluid are best - should be gone by Monday - if not, call the GP in.
Could you give it to some of the so called comedians on television the come over all funny bit Please. Get well soon
Could be flu, could be tonsillitis, could be anything at this early stage.

Go to bed.......drink plenty of fluid.......continue with the paracetamol even though it is making you sick.

Report back tomorrow morning.
Go to bed and sleep....you may feel better later and try again..it is important not to get too dehydrated though...hope it improves soon xx

Yeah, I can go back to bed. I'll take some water up with me and try and sleep. I slept for 9 hours last night, which is unheard of.
Thanks.
I hope you feel a bit better after another sleep.
sounds like a bad cold, flu tends to wipe you off your feet, when I had it I spent nearly two weeks in bed with no energy to switch on a computer let alone type.
My yardstick is - if you've got flu, and you see a £10 note on the floor, if you've got flu you can't motivate yourself to pick it up. If you pick it up, you've got a cold.
Are you feeling any better this evening?
Lol @ boxy.
If you are a man, then it is definitely man-flu, which is far worse than anything a woman can possibly get, if you are a woman, it is just a cold!

So sorry for the delay. Yes, it was nothing but a pesky cold/possibly a bug, as I felt fine come the evening and next morning.
I did overdose on Lucozade though, and was a bit sick :(
