I took a pregnancy test on Monday and it was negative. I never know exactly when my period is going to arrive but its always a couple of days after I get paid. I got paid last week and still no period. Usually when I am about to come on I get sore boobs and stomach cramps for a few days before but I have not had any of this yet. Should I take another test? Is it likely that I am pregnant?

From my understanding - a negative test means you still could be pregnant, a positive test means you definitely are, so on that basis, I'd test again, or see your GP to get confirmation. I hope the result is what you would like it to be.
Yes Andy is right a negative could be positive but a positive is always positive and can never be a negative. I would do another test or go to the doctors and explain your situation and they will do a test for you and take it from there .Hope it all works out how you would like it to.
Both the above are correct. I would just add re seeing a gp that if you take a urine sample to the docs it MUST be the first one of the morning. Any other and they won't test it. Also, most surgeries send the sample to the hospital where they perform EXACTLY the same test as you would at home and if it's tested in the surgery they probably bought the kit from the pharmacy nearby. You might as well do another test at home and get an instant result.
