I drink tesco finest green tea every day about 3 to 4 cups along with wholegrain foods eg rye bread brown pasta/rice. I also have a berroca with every breakfast , I have the special k porridge with rye and other ingredients every morning with fruit and I take Kwai heart care Garlic tablet with my main meal once a day. I exercise 3 to 4 times a week for half hour running. Im 23 years old is this a healthy diet? and is the kwai heart care tablets ok to take at such a young age?

Green tea is an antioxidant so is good for you. Your diet sounds very healthy. I would check whether you actually NEED the heart care tablets at your age, though....

Green tea is lower in caffeine and is supposed to be higher in antioxidants than black tea. Then again, honeybush tea is high in antioxidants and is naturally caffeine free so that`s probably a good alternative. I doubt it makes any difference to your health which one you drink if you have a decent balanced diet.
Just wanted to say I looked to see your results, i'm very relieved for you .Health scares are a necessary evil but hey you can put it behind you now. As for Green Tea, I can't take hot drinks so I did it in tablet form, I had a fab result !
That apart, you have a very well thought out balanced diet, might follow it myself in fact....altho I agree I don't think at 23 you should be over egging the vits/supps....up to you though as all extras are excreted.

Looks to me a bit like you're falling for marketing hype a bit. You need to eat like a hippy to eat real, proper food! Green tea is great.Wholegrains are good as they have had less processing but basically you are still eating wheat, which disagrees with a lot of people. You might feel healthier, lighter etc if you had the German rye bread, toasted (ie- no wheat or gluten), wheat free pasta too. Special K is gonna be full of crap. the best I have found is Oat So Simple original- it's just a little bag of oats, which you can make with milk, water or soya/almond milk. No added sugar. Or just buy a bag of oats from the wholefood shop. Garlic tablets are good, but even better is to cook with real garlic as then you get the roughage. Also running can damage knees if this is the only exercise you do- how about yoga for strength and flexibility, pilates, swimming or just brisk walking? You are still really young and it's great you are thinking about health, but the healthiest food you can buy is in its natural state- non processed, from the health food shop!
You don't even need to buy it from the health food shop. Just make sure that you eat fresh food that is as close to its natural state as possible. Don't buy processed this and that, learn to cook(if you don't already)...its the best thing you can do for yourself. Discover herbs and spices, try a different recipe every week...find out what you like. I agree with Scarlett re grains and wheat. Not everyone can eat them...though oats are the least likely to cause problems.
